Veterinary Architects is a specialist subsidiary of Jonathan Clark Architects, an award winning practice with years of understanding, knowledge & experience. With over 50 animal welfare projects completed, our experience and expertise ranges from renovations and new-builds of veterinary practices, animal hospitals, rehoming/adoption centres and other animal related projects. Our completed projects span from less than £100K to over £20.0M in construction cost.

We have been working with world renowned Battersea Dogs & Cats Home since 2011 both at their Battersea site and at their Old Windsor site and have now completed 9 projects for them with the total refurbishment of their 4,000m2 rehoming block for dogs and cats completed in 2022.

Working with Battersea has been a humbling experience for us. It has made us understand how important animal welfare is and the work of the veterinary profession in general. We have been hugely privileged to work on such projects and wish to share this experience and knowledge with you.

We are equally at home handling a small-scale refurbishment or a multi-million pound hospital. No job is too small or too large. We can provide the complete architectural package for any new build or renovation project. Starting with an initial consultation and moving on to concept drawings, working/manufacturing drawings, tender control and project management of the construction team.

We are a multi-discipline practice, well versed in architecture, project management and interior design. We love new challenges, pushing boundaries and discovering new technologies. We are a RIBA Chartered Practice and registered with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
